Oil Change

M’barek is insistent that I get the oil changed on the car. Just as in the US, he likes to leave me with lists of things tp do while he’s gone. Bright side, I suppose, is that it gives me a real excuse to pack up the kids and drive around. It’s no fun looking for lube shops in Dubai traffic, but I did figure out how to get down to Mall of the Emirates without paying Salik tolls. Next, to figure out how to get back without having to pay the tolls for the return trip.
Anyway, they change the oil and clean the air filter and flush the engine. It aint cheap, but in the heat and dust of this city, and with the thoughtless and aggressive style of driving that we face in the day-to-day, regular maintenance is an absolute must.
